Gel Manicure vs. Glue Manicure: What's the Difference?

Question
what's the difference between a gel & a glue manicure?

Answer
A gel manicure is simply an overlay of UV gel on the natural nail, with no extensions. If it is applied properly, it will last up to three weeks, and is a good for clients who need their polish to last longer than a few days.  It's also very good for someone who doesn't want full enhancements, but who needs a protective coating over her natural nails.

A glue manicure uses the brush-on (or squeeze-on)resin normally used in a fiberglass or silk wrap enhancement; without the mesh, the resin (or glue) adds a slightly stronger coating than polish to the nail plate.  It helps polish stay on a little better, but tends to break down in water quickly on its own. This service is best for someone who already has a fiberglass or silk wrap, and just needs a touch-up between services.

I hope this helps!
