IBD Gel Nail Allergy: Understanding & Addressing Skin Reactions

Question
I have a client who has  had IBD gel nails for over 3 years.  The last two fill ins she breaks out on her fingers with red line going from the cuticle up the finger and little blisters.  The fingers itch.  It last about three to four days.

Answer
dear Kay,

It looks like she has developed an allergy but before we make hasty conclusions check the use of the cleanser. It should not be applied to the skin at all, just on the nail and make sure you are using IBD branded products.

If you encounter the same problems consider natural nail treatment for a while and please keep me informed so we can find the reason and the cure.
