Nail Technician Courses: Find the Right Training & Qualifications

Question
I'm interested in becoming a nail technician. I work fulltime so don't have time to do a college course, i don't mind how much a course costs, or if i have to travel. I just wanted to know who runs the most suitable course for a beginner, how would i get intouch and will i get a recognised qualification at the end of the course. also how do i know which course... acrylic, gel etc. I really hope you can help because so many companys come up when i do a search, i want to invest in my future, but i also want the best training possible.

Answer
Hi Lizzi
Glad to hear you want to join our profession!
Im an educator for the biggest global nail company in the world.
CND
I can obviously tell you how passionate they and I are about all things nails and how CND manufacture all their own products unlike 90% of all other companies.
However, mayb the best thing for you to do is log onto www.thenailgeek.com and put in a search eg "Which is best education in nails"
this way you will get unbiased views from students that have attended courses at college and/or private courses with CND and other product companies.
when you have read enough, either come back to me, or call sweet squared on 0845210 6060, and they will send you all info for free and put you in touch with your nearest educator. Im in Kent.

This is assuming you're in the UK!?

If not, log onto www.CND.com aswell and find your nearest educator.
I would advise that you register on the geek site, it is free and you only have to give the info about yourself that you want to give.
It is an amazing wealth of info, and you may well make some great friends, I certainly have.
You can also private message me on there aswell if you want to.

Let me know how you get on.

Liza
