Locate Juliette Nail Wraps: Help Me Find This Product

Question
I used to have Juliette wraps for my nails, and the only manicurist in town that used this wrap, has since moved.  I had the paper and adhering polish at home and I continued to wrap my own nails.  I have since used all my product and I cant find anything, even at all the beauty supply stores. Can you help me locate this product so I may purchase.  I have some friends who are hair stylists so if a license is required, they can get it for me. I hope you can help me.  Thank You,  Jan

Answer
The Juliette wrap has eluded me for years. The technique is considered by many to be out-dated now and fewer and fewer techs have even heard of it, let alone can do it!

Here is the ONLY source for the official product that I have been able to find: http://www.eznails.com/inm.htm and I've never been able to actually get the product from them.

However, you can use end papers for perms-- very thin, strong when wet, and nearly invisible. And either glue, or clear nail polish to do your wraps. This is an excellent website on how to repair natural nails: http://www.lindarose.com/art-brokennails.asp

I did find that when using a clear polish instead of the elusive "mending liquid" it's best to use one that is very thin-- as watery as you can find. This helps saturate the paper and keeps the wrap thin. I personally, like using glue, but I find that my natural nail clients want something that can be taken off with polish remover, so they prefer polish.

I really hope this helps. I also really wish that our product manufacturers were paying attention to how many of us are looking for this product! With natural nail care back in style, this technique is growing in demand again.
