Nail Monomer Allergy: Eye Sensitivity & Reaction - A Patient's Experience

Question
For the past several months my eyes have been very sensitive, they crack and peel around the lids and under the eye.  Dr. told be I was allergic to my dogs I have had for years who are hypo allergenic dogs, I have replaced down pillows etc.  When getting my nails done recently I noticed how strong the order of the liquid was and my eyes felt a slight burning.  The next day they were swollen and the following day extremely swollen and very red.  It finally made sense my fingers are by my eyes for make-up, cleansing, creams etc.  My nail salon told me they have been using the same product for years.  A beauty supply told me there were many different liquids some organic.  Would you please suggest a good product that i am able to by that is organic or hype allergenic?
Thank you,
Karen

Answer
Hi Karen,

My first suggestion is take off the acrylic and put on a gel!
A gel nail is in a gel form when it is applied has almost no odor
And is hypoallergenic. There is no liquid powder mixture,
This is very important to know some salons will try to get you
To believe you are getting gel when in fact you are getting acrylic with a gel
Top coat! Second suggestion is if you go to a low cost salon find a new one.
Make sure who you go to is reputable!

Check out this company they can give you a nail tech in your area
EnVogue nails

Hope this helps
