Eyebrow Hair Loss: Causes, Recovery, and Regrowth Tips

so my eyebrows started shedding because that's what they do after awhile (I don't pluck them or trim them) and it wasn't as thick as it was and i started penciling them in. The pencil seemed to pull out hairs and i never applied it roughly it had almost a clay like structure. So frustrated that new hairs were constantly being pulled out I stopped using it and it has been over a week now and i don't see any new growth. There are a few shorter hairs that have grown in but nothing totally new. So i'm wondering, will the hairs that came out ever grow back? are the folicles totally damaged now and won't produce hair? i've been putting rogaine on them because i heard that would speed up the process.

Dear Ashley,

I have heard mixed reviews about Rogaine working.  Also, it has not been approved by the FDA for use on anything but the scalp, so I am not recommending it.

I have heard of success with the following two products you can find online:  

- Anastasia Brow Enhancing Serum
- Billion Dollar Brows

I'm not sure if these are sold in your local drugstore, but you might want to check with them also.
