QuestionQUESTION: hi. my name is mark and i'm 22. i've been shaving my "southern region" since i was 18 cuz i like the look and feel. i'm hetero and my gf likes me smooth too. but shaving is SUCH a pain and takes forever so i'm thinking about getting a male brazilian wax. i'm not concerned so much about the pain as i am about what my body will almost certainly DO! i'm a bit of a closet-exhibitionist and i'm seriously afraid that i will get a totally full erection while i'm being waxed!! along with the fear that i might spontaneously ejaculate! are aesthticians trained to hanle that gracefully or would it cause a whole big scene? should i tell her beforehand the possibility of that happening or just hope for the best? i PROMISE i'm not a perv but the thought of a woman i don't know handling my junk makes me pretty sure that my body will react in one way if not both! thank you in advance for any guidance you can provide. bye, mark
ANSWER: Hi Mark,
Some beauty therapists would be comfortable with this and some wouldn't so I'd suggest that, when you make the booking, you explain that this might be an issue.
Another suggestion is that you can get waxing kits for home use and you could ask your girl-friend to do it for you. Be careful to follow the instructions on each product though.
Hope that helps,
Take care, Claire.

QUESTION: thank you for answering my question so quickly! i'm going to follow your advice and tell them the deal when i make an appt, but as a professional beauty therapist yourself can you tell me how often the fears that i described to you actually occur?? and when people are being trained to do male brazilian waxes are they made aware that it might happen? because even if i warn her that it might happen it would still be embarrassing if it actually happened!! specially if i ejaculated! i'm sorry that i'm trippin but i just don't want ANYBODY including myself to be embarrassed or made to feel uncomfortable. i'm probably just worried about nothing but i also know how quickly my body can react to stuff! bye, mark
AnswerI haven't had this exact situation but, if you explain when you make the booking, then the therapist will know what might happen and she will be prepared for it. I live and work in England and it's possible that fewer men ask for waxing here but this situation does happen during massage.
I think you shouldn't feel uncomfortable, it's a natural human reaction and the beauty therapist should be able to put you at your ease.
Hope it goes well,
Take care, C
