Dremel for Jewelry Making: Is it the Right Tool?

Is a Dremel Tool appropiate for drilling fake gems for jewelry making?

I personally have disliked dremmell tools..they are really designed for part time home use...and as far as I can see only use brass sleeves for Bearings...having said that I'm sure there are a lot of new models out that may be a big improvement..my suggestion is if you're going to need to do considerable drilling..look at a Fordham handset...especially if you can find a used one in good condition...there are many models..these are designed for heavy use and have high rpm up to 20,000 or more..
