Finding Replacement Stones for Vintage Jewelry: A Guide

I repair all kinds of jewelry for the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop, I am having a hard time replacing stones which have fallen out of vintage pieces.  Is there a place to find foil backed stones like the kinds in antique and vintage pieces,   it seems everything I look up has a clear back which just blacks out when glued in place

Hello susan and thank you for your inquiry. You can purchase loose stones a lot of places online. One place is ebay.com - just search for rhinestones. I also sell them on my site at
