Setting Faceted Stones in Tube Settings: Tools & Techniques

Question
Hello Rolfe!  I had a question about setting faceted stones in pre-made tube settings. I have taken 3 metalsmithing classes- and the instructor had a set of tools that she used for setting the stone, but i am not sure what they are called.  they looked almost like concave little metal punches that fit over the tube setting to push the sides down. but i have also read that some people use burnishers and bezel rollers and the tools that you use to set a regular cabochon bezel to set faceted stones? Which way do you prefer or find easier to use to set faceted stones?

Answer
hello...sorry all the stones we  mount are simple cabs with no facet..
I would suggest that you call Rio Grande out of New Mexico..
they have a huge catalogue of all sorts of tools.. also you can call and ask for technical advice that should be able to answer your question.
You need to get past the customer service and go to a expert.
