Adding a Center Stone to Diamond Earrings & Engagement Ring - Process & Feasibility

I have diamond earrings that I would like to add to the center stone of my princess cut engagement ring. Is this possible to do without changing the center stone?  Is this really as simple as melting the diamonds together, or what is the process for this?

If you are suggesting melting the gems together - no, this isn't possible.
If you are wondering whether you can add extra settings without unsetting the main stone, yes this is possible.

I think you should take it to a good jeweller who will be able to direct you.
