Identifying a Luciana 18K Brooch: Origin and Era

I have acquired an abstract swirl design brushed finish brooch marked "LUCIANA 18KT" and weighs 27.2 g.  I have found no reference to this designer name.  What time period of operation?  Thanks, Dle Farrar

Hello Dale and thank you for your inquiry. I have been unable to locate this designer in my resources. However, I would imagine this is an Italian fine jewelry designer. Since it is precious metal you might want to consider having an estate jewelry appraiser do an appraisal for you. Your local museum or antique shop should be able to refer you to a professional appraiser for this purpose. You might also want to check out a book listed below
