Albion Jewelers: History & Markings - Chicago Costume Jewelry

I am looking for the family name of the Albion Jewelry co. if it is different from Albion..
and the first name if it is Albion for the surname.

Hello Jane and thank you for your inquiry. Albion jewelry was manufactured by Albion Jewelers in Chicago, IL circa 1935. They made costume jewelry of base metals and plated precious metals. They used the marks: "A", "Albion", and "Contessa" . Apparently signed items are scarce and many items could have had paper labels. I haven't been able to find much else on the company but will let you know if I locate any other information. Hope this helps.
