Hi,
Could you please give me some information about my grandmother's pendent? The stone is a dark orangish-yellow color ,approximately 5 carats, & set in a silver metal. The back is stamped, "Czech Slovakia". I'd appreciate any information you can give me especially if you think it is a real gem stone & if so, what type & the value if any. I'M REALLY SORRY BUT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO TELL YOU ANYTHING ABOUT THAT PENDANT OTHER THAN WHAT YOU TOLD ME. I WOULD HAVE TO TEST IT AND EVALUATE IT IN PERSON TO GIVE YOU A REAL IDEA. IT LOOKS LIKE IT COULD BE CITRINE BUT I DON'T KNOW FROM THE PHOTO. I WOULD SUGGEST YOU TAKE IT TO YOUR LOCAL GEMOLOGIST OR JEWELER AND GET THEIR OPINION. THE ONLY THING MAYBE FOR SURE IS IT WAS PROBALY MADE IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC WAY BACK. GOOD LUCK.
