My Great grandmother's brother brought her this bracelet back from the spanish american war. Could you tell me anything about it?

If there are no markings on the inside, you might want to have it tested for metal content i.e. sterling. Just from what I can see, it may be Mexican Sterling. You may also want to have it appraised especially since this is a family heirloom. A jewelry estate appraiser would be the best choice since they are very familiar with the older styles and makers.
