Questiondo you know if it is legal or proper to fuse or solder a 10k gold component to a .925 or sterling jewelry item and stamp the resulting piece .925 10k, or ster 10k, preceded by a registered trade mark.

AnswerSorry not sure..I can tell you i constantly receive questions on stamps on jewelry and I'm sure
to have both .925 and 10k together would be very confusing....I think each stamp would have to be on the corresponding part..I used to sell replica coins
from Dom Rep... and the "R" required was supposed to be raised but was not and we never had a problem...??
