Identifying Inlaid Amber Jewelry: A Vintage Jewelry Expert's Perspective

I bought a pendant on ebay that is supposedly amber inlaid with gold.  It is on a belcher chain.  I have looked on the internet and searched vintage jewelry to find something similar.  I can't find anything.  The pendant looks like amber and the inlays look like gold.  Have you ever heard of this before?

Hello Cathy and thank you for your inquiry. Your pendant sounds very nice. I have not seen anything similar that I can recall. If the item has no manufacturer or gold markings, you might want to have a jeweler or gemologist check it out for authenticity if you are concerned that it may not be as presented.. It is also very possible that it is a studio or one of a kind piece. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance but it sounds lovely - enjoy it !
