Is a Turkish 14K Gold Crucifix Authentic?

My husband just gave me a crucifix on a chain. The chain is tagged as 14KG, and so is the piece that permanently attaches the crucifix to the chain. However I can find no marking on the crucifix itself. It is made in Turkey. Do you think the crucifix is 14KG also?   Thanks for you help.

Mary, jewelry is being manufactured in many countries in the current market. Turkey is exporting a lot of jewelry to other countries such as the USA.

Pendants are often stamped on the bail or portion which goes to the neck chain.  It seems that is the case with your crucifix.  I believe the quality mark applies to the cross.
