Navigating Relationship Challenges After Deployment: A Guide to Reconnecting

Question
My husband and i have been married 4 years and together alittle over 5.5 years. 2 months before his last deployment we welcomed our daughter into the world (she is now just over two) he has been deployed twice since we married and we have had somewhat of a rough coming back together. we have disagreements and and we bicker. we both have stated our problems with the relationships and i thought i was working on those that he didnt he had problems with. last weekend we had a great day and spent wonderful time together. then he hit me with "i dont love you anymore and want a divorce" within 5 mins he was out the door with things he had already had packed. it has been 3 days and he already has papers and says counceling would be like beating a dead horse. he has been unhappy for about a year. i dont want to give up and i want a chance to try. he never gave me that chance. what can i do?

Answer
There is no simple / one time remedy answers. A professional 'what to do' advice depends on the background, so both sides need to be interviewed.

You indeed need a professional assessment (2-4 sessions). Look for a local resource (what about the military system?) or take a look at my site and determine if you do want to peruse.
