Prolonged or Heavy Periods: Causes and What to Do

i am 27 yrs old, i have always have my period like every other month. however, i got my period the end part of last month (oct) and it lasted for almost three weeks so i went to my obgyn to see whats up and she gave me some pills to take for five days to stop it. witch it did but then it came back again like three days after it has stoped. when it came on before i had went to the doc. i had lots of clots but no pain, but this time am having the clots again and cramps. can someone please give me some kind of reasoning for why they think this is happening to me or what they think i should do

Thank you for writing me and I think that you are doing the best thing by going to see doctor's. I am not sure why this is occurring but I do not think it is natural and you need to seek professional help so they can test you and make sure nothing serious is going on.

Just keep seeing the doctor's and ask questions of them God Bless and take care of yourself.
