Alcohol Consumption & Early Pregnancy: Potential Risks and What to Do

My period should have started on the 5th or 6th of this month.  On the sixth I went out drinking with some friends and I had about 5 beers.  I took a home pregnancy test today, the 7th, and it was positive.  Was my baby hurt by the alcohol I consumed?

It would take alot more than that do any harm to a baby, however it can just take one. But usually chronic drinking would be the most likely. I would definetly tell my ob and let them follow the baby on ultrasounds. I really think the baby is fine.
