AnswerWe measure your due date from the first day of your last menstrual period. If that was March 20, then you are due on December 27. However, you may have ovulated on April 2. If so, you could have conceived on April 1,2,3, or 4. The due date does not change. You may have had an LH (Luteinizing Surge) on April 1 (which is what a fertility monitor shows) and you usually will ovulate 12-24 hours later. Even when you get a sonogram, you should still keep the due date of December 27, even if the sonogram gives you a different date. Sonotrams usually have an error of + or - 14 days. I think you should have your first visit at 8 weeks from the first day of your last period. Good luck.
