QuestionHI - Acutally my baby was already born on february 17. The estimated due date was supposed to be feb. 5, making the "estimated" date of conception may 15th. So knowing that, is there any possible way my ex (who I had relations with April 21) is the father?

Hello-
I am really hoping you will be able to help me with my question to relieve a lot of tension that I have been experiencing. I had my son on February 17th of this year. At 7 weeks pregnant, I had an ultrasound that my due date was february 5th, which would make the date of conception may 15th. Later on, I had another ultrasound to determine the sex of my child, and that also said feb. 5 as the due date. I was not sure of my last menstual date. I had intercourse with my ex at the end of april (appox. april 22), and with my current boyfriend throughout the whole month of may. Is there any possible way that my ex could be there father? I have an appointment next month to determine if my current bf is the father, and if he is not he said he is leaving me. What do you think?

Hi,
Well, a due date is a Estimated Date of Confinement (gestation/pregnancy) Just a estimate.
Even with ultrasound the date is just a estimate, as is the date of conception. That did is the likely date, but not the absolute day you got pregnant.
The time frame is so tight, that there is no way to tell.
The only way you will know is to get a DNA test after the baby is born.
I'm sorry, there is no way to tell before then.

AnswerHi,
Well, again, dates and timeframes are all estimates.
It is thought that sperm can live 5 to 7 days, but it varies with everyone, it is thought that it can take 7 to 14 days for a fertilized egg to implant in the uterus, but that can vary with everyone.
There is NO way to tell...period. Your days are so close that any of these numbers could over lap.
DNA is the only way to know which person is the father so yes, it is very possible your ex is the father.
