Pregnancy Timeline Analysis: Potential Father Concerns

Question
QUESTION: my wifes due date is 27 November 2007 her lmp was 14 February 2007 from the ultrasounds they say she got pregnant on the 20th of February im worried because she had sex with another partner on march 5th 9th and 11th i was wondering if at all possible he could be the father

ANSWER: The dates you are giving me aren't quite adding up.  A due date of 27 November would give an ovulation date of 6 March (with a calculated LMP of 20 February, which is maybe where you got that date?).  If your wife ovulated on 6 March, her other partner has a good chance of being the father.  If in fact she conceived on 20 February, then he would not.

QUESTION: i know for a fact her LMP was February 14th because i was there when she started i don't understand it because she asked the doctor over and over again about the dates and everything i wish i could get a concrete answer because its driving me insane my question is what are the chances of me being the father and what are the chances of him being the father because of a ovulation of march 6th wouldn't the baby have a due date in December

Answer
The due date is 38 weeks after the date of conception, not nine calendar months (nine months is merely a convenient reference), so a conception of 6 March would give a due date of 27 November.  It sounds like there is a good chance of him being the father.  If you cannot determine paternity by appearances and/or blood typing, then a DNA test may be required.
