QuestionI am having a sharp pain on my right side on the front. It is coming and going. I am 5 months pregnant.
I don't have health insurance and want to know if there is a hot-line to talk to a nurse.
Answer I am hoping that the comment about not having health ins does not mean you have not seen a Dr. Since I am afraid that it does I want to tell you that there is state and federal help for people with out ins.
If you do not qualify for that then you should contact your local health dept who surely will have free or next to free health care for you.
Now, for tonight/today you could call the ER and explain that you are pregnant, don't have ins and have not seen a Dr. and are concerned.
That is probably going to be better than me telling you something. Good luck, take care of yourself.
P.S. If you qualify for medicaid then if you go to the ER it will most likely pay for that even if you did not have it yet.
