2cm Dilated at 36.5 Weeks: What to Expect?

I have started dialating, I am at a 2 and I am 36 and half weeks, how soon should I expect to actually go into labor or dialate more.

Hello Amanda. First, refuse to allow your dr to do any more internal exams. There is nothing unusual about being 2cm at this stage of pregnancy and you will likely carry to full term. There is NO way of knowing when you will deliver- you could be 2 weeks overdue as well. Just relax and allow mother nature to decide when the time is right. Cheri.
