Pregnancy Test Timing: When to Take for Accurate Results
QuestionMy periods are very irregular so I have no clue what day to expect my period to come. My last period was May 27th. My cycles range from 20-30 days. When do you think would be a good time to take a test? I took an Answer early preg test today which is June 20th and it came out negative. I would have concieved the first week of June. Was that to early to take it today? When would be a good time? Please get back to me asap! thanks!
AnswerIf your last period started on May 27, the earliest that you could have conceived would have been on June 9. If you did become pregnant arouhd that day, a pregnancy test would not show a positive result until 14-21 days later. The best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after missing your period or 21 days after conception (or June 30).
