Negative Pregnancy Test & Missed Period: Possible Pregnancy?

I have 2 questions...I have taken 5 home pregnancy tests and they have all come up negative.  I am approximately 2 weeks late for my menstrual cycle.  Could I be pregnant and they tests just not detecting the pregnancy hormone?  Also, if I am not pregnant and I have just missed this month's period, can I still get pregnant with out have my menstrual cycle?

You are probably not pregnant since you have taken that many test.
To become pregnant you must ovulate.  You did not ovulate last month for some reason.  That does not mean you won't ovulate this month and be able to become pregnant.
