QuestionI took the first pill of a new packet (Saturday) and then missed the next 3 pills (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday) due to illness. I took the pill on Wednesday and had intercourse that night. I have now had spotting, could I be pregnant or is this spotting confirmaton that I am not?

First of all, I just want to let you know that I'm not a medical doctor. I would suggest talking to your personal physician. I will try to answer your question to the best of my knowledge. I would think that there would be a greater chance of you getting pregnant because of missing those 3 pills. The pill is not 100% failure-proof even when you take all of them correctly every month. You could still have spotting even if you're pregnant. My daughter got pregnant when she was on her period so you just never know.
