Prenatal Classes: Hospital vs. Bradley Method - What's Best?

I am about 28 weeks along and I still have not taken any classes on giving birth or the labor process.  I am getting ready to take a tour of the hospital that I plan to give birth in.  Should I ask them about classes or should I do some intensive homework of my own?

Hello Kelly- I NEVER recommend prenatal classes taught by a hospital- they only teach you how to be an obedient patient! The best classes are Bradley childbirth classes- go to the Bradley website to find your nearest ones. If that is not possible, read The Comlete Book of Pregnancy and Childbirth by Sheila Kitzinger AND Natural Childbirth the Bradley Way by Susan McCutcheon. All the best Cheri.
