Are Cough Drops Safe During Pregnancy? | Expert Advice

I was just wondering if Luden's Wild Cherry throat drops were okay to use.  I am 8 weeks pregnant.  My throat is very scratchy and I use the phone a lot during the day.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

They would probably be okay but you should ask your Dr. or Pharmacist as this is not my true area of expertise.
Peppermint or Butterscotch candy would probably give you the same results and not be a bit harmful.  I don't like to see women take any meds during pregnacy if they don't have to.
