QuestionI just found out that I am 10 weeks pregnant, which is very exciting news to me, but I'm afraid my baby might not be healthy. I have been using crystal meth for about 6 months now, I would smoke the drug about twice every week. 4 weeks ago something told me I had to quit and with the help of my family I have been able to get 100% away from the drug. I havent used in four weeks and will never touch it again. What I want to know is my baby going to be high at risk to having health problems from those 6 weeks of being exposed to the drug? I just found out I was pregnant 3 days ago and I only have 3 weeks to make a decision on abortion. Is it safe to have this baby?

I am not really the person to ask anything about Crystal Meth, I can tell you that many times things done before you know you are pregnant (this is of course early on, like the first month) does not do any harm. You really need to ask this sort of thing to a Dr. though, they are the specialist in this area.

P.S. If you decide to keep this baby and I hope you do, remember what is in the past is gone, do not dwell on it. You can not change it, be happy for today, your baby will great no matter what.
