VBAC After C-Section: Separating Fact from Misinformation
Questioni have been told that doctors are not suposed to do vbacs within 4 years of a c section is that true?
AnswerHello Marie- there is NO medical reason for such a rule- it is a way for physicains to manipulate women into sections for their own convenience. They prefer to do sections because they can "schedule" birth for daytime hours during the week and they won't be bugged during the night and on weekends. You need to do some serious self education about this issue- read these three books- Open Season and The Silent Knife both by Nancy Wainer Cohen, and Ina May's Guide to Childbirth by Ina May Gaskin. You might enjoy a website called BirthLove- all the best- Cheri.
