QuestionA colleague of mine is 15 wks pregnant having lost a baby earlier this year, another colleague of ours has shingles, has had it for 2 weeks, is 30 years old and still experiencing pain at the base of her neck and down her back, she came into work yesterday to collect some things and says she may be back next Monday. My pregnant friend has been told that she should not be in work with her if she has any symptoms, what do you think?

Who told her that she should not be around this person? If it was her Dr. then she should follow Doctors orders. If not then she should give her Dr. a ring and ask him/her.
What you will find online is general information. Her Dr. could tell her based on her what is safe.
