IUI Aftercare: Understanding Post-Procedure Symptoms & What to Expect

Hi Jennifer. I have been trying to conceive for a year. I wasn't ovulating in the past, but I finally ovulated and had IUI done on 1/21/05 and 1/22/05. Hubby's' sperm analysis was 27.9 after being washed. I started progesterone suppositories on 1/22/05. I have been nauseous, vomiting, and I have cramps everyday. It seems way too early to experience pregnancy symptoms (if IUI worked). But they assure me progesterone suppositories don't cause these symptoms. I take a pregnancy test this Friday, but I am anxious and can't figure out why I'm sick everyday. Your opinion would be appreciated. Thanks.

This definately sounds as if you may be pregnant but like you said it would definately be too early for those symptoms to arrive.  It could be the IUI  controbuting to your hormones and making your body think your pregnant.  Every womans body reacts differently to every type of medication.
