Postpartum Pregnancy: Can You Get Pregnant So Soon?

Hi I am 25 years old and I just had a baby January 11, 2005 and I recently had sex about 4 days ago and we didnt use any protection and he came inside me the thing is we were in the shower and we were standing up. My question is could I get pregnat so soon after giving birth. And how soon after sex can an accurate test be taken?

If you deliverd a baby on January 11, you could have ovulated as early as two weeks later  (January 24). If you had sex at the time of ovulation, you certainly may have conceived again (even if it was in the shower and were standing up). If you do not get your next period, wait an additional week and take a pregnancy test. By then it will be an accurate test.
