Uterus Size & Absence: Understanding Menstrual Irregularities & Next Steps

"Hi,
My cousine has some menstural problem. Her period stopped 6 years back.Now she is 27. Recently she consulted gynocologist and first they reported her uterus is kind of size 2 and not grown full..now after 3 days same doctor is saying she don't have uterus..it's a kind of confusion to the whole family.

also her other reports are positive..ovaries are funtioning properly etc..

can you give me some advice about this issue ?

If there is any doubts as to her uteruine size or presence, she should get a sonogram of her pelvis. See what the report says. She may have stopped having her period due to some hormonal imbalance. This often can be started with birth control pills. There is no such size as "2". It is doubtful that she would not have a uterus unless she had surgery in the past. If you have any doubts, I would suggest getting a second opinion from a reputable gynecologist.
