Exercising & Fertility: Can Exercise Affect Pregnancy Chances?

i am 22yr (F). i dont have any kids. me and my husband are trying to get a baby for the last 4 months. my last period date is the 4th of agust 2005. please note that i am not regular in my periods. i noticed that when i excersise or when i travell my periods comes very soon.is that a problem? i am taking follic acid regularly and having sex according to the dates which i will be likely to ovulate. is there anything more that i can do to concieve. we are really desperate for a baby. should i show my husband to a doctor? or am i worrying too much?

And also, i am trying to loose weight but i am afraid to excersise. can i excersise?

You can safely exercise while trying to conceive. Even once you become pregnant, you can continue to exercise, but must avoid aerobic exercises or anything that will tire you out. If you have irregular periods, you may want to purchase an ovulation predictor kit from the pharmacy to try to pinpoint the exact day of ovulation each month. If you have a 28 day cycle, ovulation occurs on cycle day #14, and you can only conceive if you have sex on cycle day #13, 14, 15, or 16. You appear to be doing everything correctly. Just keep trying. If you continue to try for 12 months with no success, then consult your gynecologist. Good luck.
