Gestational Diabetes: Understanding High Sugar Levels in Pregnancy & Treatment Options
QuestionDear Doctor, I'm 6 weeks pregnant. My age is 33yrs. My hieght is 5.4inch & I weigh at present 100kgs. My blood sugar fasting is 135 & fasting is 150. My gyenac has advised for insulin. Is it really necessary to take insulin? Are there not any medecine that I can take orally. Please advice.
*PS: This is my second pregnancy. I have a 6yr old Son.
