Bladder Infection, Pregnancy, or Post-Hormonal Changes? Symptoms & Advice

I'm 30 years old and I have just stopped using the Nuva-ring about one month ago.  I also have had it come out and it has stayed out for more than 4 hours before I stopped using it. I used an IUD without-hormones for over a year and a half before that.  My cycle when I was on the IUD was 30 days long, but once I started the ring, it changed to 28 days. My last period started on December 24, 2005 and ended exactly five days later. My fiance' and I had sex on the 17,19 and on the 24 of December.  My next period is not due until January 21, 2006.  The symptoms I'm having are nausea(especially in the morning through til around lunchtime and when smelling certain aromas), I'm very tired all the time and my breasts are very tender, but I am also having burning, painful urination.  I urinate very frequently and sometimes I feel as if My bladder is going to explode, yet when I get  to use the bathroom there's barely any urine being released.  I'm also having bladder spasms.  If, I only could distinguish between the two, pregnancy, bladder infection or maybe even both...is that possible?  And what days should I consider to be for ovualtion.  We are trying to get pregnant anyway.  Thanks alot!

If your last period start4ed on December 24, then the earliest you could have ovulated would have been on January 6 and you can conceive if you have unprotected sex on January 5,6,7, or 8. If you did become pregnant on one of those days, a pregnancy test would not show a positive result until 14-21 day later. The best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after missing your next period. You are due for your next period on January 20. If you do not get your period by January 27, take a pregnancy test and you will know for sure. Since you started your period on December 24, you definitely could not have conceived on the 17,19, or 24 of December. If you have urgency (the feeling that you have to urinate but very little comes out) you may have a bladder infection and I would advise getting a urine culture.  If you have a normal 28 day cycle, ovulation occurs on cycle day #14 and you can coniceive if you have sex on cycle day #13, 14, 15, or 16 each month.
