Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) vs. Other Conditions: Symptom Overlap

Hello,

I was just wondering if there are any other illnesses that can mimic the symptoms of an urinary tract/bladder infection.  If so, what are they and would they have any additional symptoms?

tough question since you haven't described which symptoms... back pain can be musculoskeletal, frequency of urination can be DM, burning can be a vaginal infection (or prostate infection in a guy), and there are other inflammatory bladder problems (interstitial cystitis) that can mimic an infection.
