Usually, if the line on the pregnancy test is faint, it is considered a negative test. Both lines should be bold and dark for it to be a positive test. If your lasat period started on December 17, you were due for your next period on January 13. The best time to take a pegnancy test is seven days after missing your period. I would repeat the test on January 20. If it still shows a faint line, take two blood tests for pregnancy (Beta HCG) 48 hours apart. If there is a doubling of the results in 48 hours, it indicates a viable pregnancy. If there is a halving of the results in 48 hours, it indicates a miscarriage. If both results are less than 5, you were never pregnant. Good luck.

You did not mention if you followed my advice and took the blood test for pregnancy (Beta HCG) twice, 48 hours apart. Then you will know for sure whether you are no longer pregnant or are pregnant again. If you are using the birth control pills every day, it is highly unlikely that you would have become pregnant. The pill is different from the DepoProvera. There are many women who have had problems after using DepoProvera. If the pregnancy test is negative, you are definitely not pregnant.
