hello...i had a miscarriage and had to have a d&c on 4/11/06. i had it about 3 weeks ago..i had'nt had sex until yesterday 4/30/06(no protection)..i bled lightly for about 2 wks after the d&c..what are the chances that i could of gotten pregnant?...and how long would i have to wait to find out if i am?

After a D&C it is possible to ovulate around two weeks later. Usually, we suggest that you wait for a normal period before trying to conceive just to be sure when you ovulate. However, it is possible to ovulate two weeks after the procedure. If you did become pregnant, a pregnancy test would not show a positive restult until 14-21 days later. The best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after missing your next period.
