Possible Pregnancy After Tubal Ligation: Symptoms & What to Do

I am 24 years old I have two kids.  My youngest is 6 months old and I had a tubaligation when I had him because I was high risk and he was a preemie.  I have not had a period since April 25th, I am normally right on time and I know my body pretty well for I have dealt with endometriosis for about 6 years.  I know when my periods come and they are always right on time.  My endometriosis was controlled last year with shots so that I could get pregnant with my last child.  I just wonder if there is a chance that I could be pregnant, nothing was mentioned to me concerning my tubal when I had my baby.  All I know is I gave consent and requested it be done due to the risk factors.  I am concerned and can not get an appt with my OB til next week.  I hope there is some sort of answer you can give me.  Oh and the home pregnancy test was negative too.  Thank You for your time.

You sound like you are not sure if you did or did not have the tubal ligation. If it was correctly performed, it is extremely unlikely that you could have become pregnant. If your last period started on April 25, you were due for your next period on May 22. The best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after missing your next period. Therefore, if you do not get your period by June 1, take a pregnancy test and you will know for sure. What was the reason for you saying that you had a high risk pregnancy?You can safely wait  untiol  you can get an appointment.
