Birth Control Concerns: Missed Pills & Potential Pregnancy

Question
First day of last period: May 29, 2006.

I am taking Othro Cyclen.  I missed the last two active pills before I was supposed to take the placebo pills (5/26 & 5/27).  I had sex with my husband on 5/28/06. My period began on 5/29/06.  I began my new pack of pills on 6/4/06 like I was supposed to, but started it late (usually take it in am, but took it in the pm).  I had sex with my husband shortly after taking the pill.  Can I become pregnant because of this?  If so how soon would I be able to tell?

Answer
You can only become pregnant if you ovulate. It is doubtful if you would have ovulated that late in your cycle. If your last period started on May 29, you will not ovulate until June 11 and  could not have become pregnant if you got a period. If you miss your next period, which is due on June 25, wait a week and take a pregnancy test.
