I just visted my OB today for my very first visit and he mentioned after a pelvic exam that my pelvic and uterus are not very large yet what does that exactly mean am I in trouble ..I'm olny 6 weeks pregnant

Hi Crystal,

No, you are not in trouble ..You are just very early in your pregnancy. Women usually dont start to show, until 3 and half or 4 months pregnant.

My guess, is that the doctor, is basically going by the dates you given him. So, if the dates are accurate, then ofcourse your uterus, and pelvic region is not going to be enlarged yet.

I think he just made a comment, indicating you are very early in your pregnancy, and perhaps he didnt realize that allthough he is right, it alarmed you. (Doctos are so notorious for this kind of stuff)

Be rest assured, that if thought anything was wrong, he would be investigating it further, and would have brought it to your attention.

You just have a small belly right now, and well being so early in pregnancy, thats the norm :)
