Contraceptive Injection & Unprotected Sex: What to Know

I went for my second injection a week ago but me and my boyfriend had sex without protection a couple days after, did I have to wait a week to have unprotected sex like the first time or was it just for the first time that I had to wait?

I'm not sure about that but you can consult your doctor. I don't usually recommend the birth control shot because of risks and side effects. Also, it's not 100% safe in preventing pregnancy so there is always a chance. Let me know how you are doing. My private email address is CHERYL51@aol.com
