Birth Control Missed a Week: What To Do?

I just miss a week of taking my birth control, I will like to know if I have to wait for my next cycle to start back on the birth control or should i just continue?
And, If I have to wait until my next cycle should I take it when  my cycle begins or after my cyle ends?

If you could tell me what brand of birth control you are taking, perhaps I could give you more information. Are you talking about your period when you ask about when to take it again?
