Negative Pregnancy Test & Potential Pregnancy: What to Do?

thank you. I am also always tired and there is no oder to by discharge.  Should I get a blood test. Has anyone ever had a neg tedt 8days late and still benn pregnant?

Yes, it has happened that women have had negative tests even as long as 8 days late. This can be dependent upon what their level of hCG is, if they followed directions exactly, and whether they used concentrated first morning urine to test with.

If you want to be absolutely certain, you can always get a quantitative blood pregnancy (serum beta hCG) test at your local women's clinic or doctor's office. This would give you an actual amount of hCG in your bloodstream, rather than a positive/negative result. A level of 25 mIU/ml or more would indicate pregnancy.
