QuestionIf i & my husband had a same blood group that is o+ will there be any problem in pregnancy due to same blood group?
AnswerDear Muskan,
There is absolutely no risk in you and your husband sharing the same blood type.
For people with type A blood, the liquid portion of your blood (plasma) has antibodies that fight against type B blood. The exact opposite is true with type B blood. With type AB blood, plasma does not have antibodies against either type A or type B blood. With type O blood, neither the A nor B antigen is present. Your plasma (and your husband's) has antibodies that fight against both type A and type B blood.
Occasionally, an incompatibility may occur when the mother is blood type O and the baby is either A or B. Type A blood and type B blood is dominant over type O. However, with both you and your husband being type O, you should not need to be concerned about this.
I hope this has helped you and answered your question. I wish you well.
